What we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Packaging and Ingredients Scheduler to join our growing Supply Chain team. As a Packaging and Ingredients Scheduler, you will work closely with the supply chain team to assist with daily tasks and to keep all supporting information up to date to strengthen the department. Main area of focus will be day to day scheduling of packaging and ingredients for the slow cooked side of the business. Provide cover for the Senior Packaging and Ingredients Specialist


Key responsibilities as a Packaging and Ingredients Scheduler will be to:

Take ownership of slow cooked packaging and ingredient stocks
Take ownership of stocks; place bulk orders with suppliers, raise dispatch notes and co-ordinate call offs from our external storage site.
Review MOQ vs usage to avoid write off's.
Manage promo requirement call offs.
Keep forecasts up to date by liaising with the demand planner.
Order sundries stocks.
Manage film stocks, requirements and call offs.
Manage packaging, ingredients stocks, requirements and call offs
Learn daily procurement tasks to help cover
Ensure all packaging and ingredients are available for trials as per the request sent from commercial and NPD
Proactively engage with NPD about future launches

Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Packaging and Ingredients Scheduler will include:


Have proven supply chain experience.
Can liaise with the site management teams.
Ensure effective lines of communication are in place within the team.
Pro-actively engage the supply chain Management team with ideas for development.
To have experience within the meat industry(nice to have not necessary)
