What we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Head of Supply Chain to join our growing team. As a Head of Supply Chain you will set the compliance via appropriate channels, across all applicable supply chains ensuring that Hilton Seafood, customer and legal requirements are fully implemented and ensure all new Technical IT systems are value adding, rolled out in full across the two sites and supported with training and competency training packages as applicable.

Key responsibilities as a Head of Supply Chain will be to:
To coach across the Production teams on both Food Safety and Legality and competency assess the effectiveness of this training,
capturing all the detail in an auditable document with linked risk assessments as applicable.
To coach the technical teams on both food safety and legality and competency assess the effectiveness of this training, capturing the detail within an auditable document with linked risk assessments as applicable.
To be the initial point of (Technical) contact for all new suppliers, ensuring the on-boarding process is completed in full and to a fully auditable standard within Foods Connected, mirrored across the site(s) risk assessments.
To ensure a robust and repeatable risk assessment process is in place for all new ingredients and fish and/or for changes to existing suppliers/ingredients/fish.
To conduct horizon scanning for both existing and emerging threats across the supply bases. Communicating internally, to the Hilton Group, and any applicable customers as required, to ensure all identified risks are documented and where possible mitigated.
To link the above to the management of Hilton Seafood's VACCP plan ensuring a robust documented system exists that supports on going trade, linking mitigation against emerging threats across CSR, ethical and authenticity.
To visit and conduct audits across the supply base to support the continued development of both current and new suppliers into Hilton Seafood.

Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Head of Supply Chain will include:
Proven track record for developing, leading and motivating teams and individuals
Experience in supplier scorecards and supplier management systems, both implementation and development that demonstrates continuous improvement.
Broad experience of working with the major retailers
Ability to simultaneously manage numerous projects and workstreams across several geography's and time zones.
