Hilton Seafood are looking for a People and Culture Business Partner to join us in the People and Culture team, reporting directly to the People and Culture Manager. This is an exciting role where you will have one direct report and work closely with the People and Culture Manager to ensure consistency and best practice exists between both sites in terms of policy and ways of working.
As a People & Culture Business Partner some of the responsibilities will be to:
Advise, guide, and support managers and employees in all matters in accordance with company values, policies and procedures.
Control adherence to the company's attendance policy and work with managers in order to effectively manage issues of non-compliance.
Track and challenge business costs in terms of weekly OT, labour costs, HR Budgets, etc and review with both the P&C Manager and FD regularly.
Regularly review all policies and procedures to ensure they are updated with changes in legislation and best practice and communicate these to the HR Team and wider business.
Responsible for staff welfare, facilities & amenities.
Assist in creating a climate in which our people feel connected and committed to the business and are genuine advocates for Hilton Foods (OpCo).
To succeed as a People & Culture Business Partner we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
Experience in HR leadership within manufacturing organisations (ideally multinational).
Experience of working in a unionised environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering HR services e.g. payroll, recruitment, training, ER.
Proven track record of delivering business change.
Strong influencing skills and relationship management at all levels internally and externally.
