What we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Machine Minder to join our team. You will carry out all tasks as delegated by the Engineering Manager to the highest standards.

As a Machine Minder some of the responsibilities will be to:
- Effectively change over of packaging and process machinery
- Ensuring equipment is changed over / available as per production plan
- 1st Line maintenance to agreed guidelines
- Completion of documentation to a high standard
- Completion of pre-start checks ensuring that H&S and Food Safety requirements are maintained. Any issues raised and owned until completion
- Liaise with the production and engineering departments with regards to machine performance.
- To be a highly competent team member providing a safe and efficient service to support production, and to ensure that a proactive approach is adopted to maintaining good machinery and operating efficiencies within a timely manner.
- Proactively provide support to reduce non-planned maintenance down time.
- To share own knowledge with the production team to enable continuous improvement.
- Optimisation of all hi risk equipment (including deglazers, depositors and weighing equipment)

To succeed as a Machine Minder, we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
- Proven experience working with or operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines to ensure smooth operations.
- Understanding of mechanical processes and basic machinery maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, machine manuals, and safety instructions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting, and handling machinery components or materials.
