What we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Dry Store Operative/ Team Leader Relief to join our growing Production team. As a Dry Store Operative/ Team Leader Relief you will be responsible for ensuring production receives all required packaging and ingredients in a timely manner, offloading deliveries to site and performing a team leader relief role when required.

Key responsibilities as a Dry Store Operative/ Team Leader Relief will be:
- Ensuring production demands are met with regards to providing packaging and ingredients daily
- Completing all required checks and associated paperwork
- Maintaining accurate stock levels within the area and the use of the site systems.
- Stepping into the Team Leader role when required
- Using site systems to order packaging/ingredients to site from external storage.
- Liaise with various departments within the business to ensure production targets are met
- Complete WorkSafe check at startup.
- Escalation of any issue's product quality to the Team Manager
- Ensure accurate recording of any department paperwork.
- Actively involved in all aspects of continuous improvement.
- Assist the Team Manager in progressing the teams' development needs, through cross training, and continuous assessment of training needs.
- Communicate with the Training Team to advise of any training requirements.
- Liaise with the Team Manager on personnel issues and staffing requirements.
- Monitoring of staff performance and escalation of any poor/ under performance
- Endeavour to create a positive and engaging team work culture.
- Physical stock checks, stock rotation, and stock movements to aid efficiency in the area.
- Be Health & Safety Aware - Perform any duties to ensure a safe working environment, including completing any records as required.
- And any other reasonable request made by Management

Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Dry Store Operative/ Team Leader Relief will include:
- Previous food production experience
- Interpret data (Screen display)
- Computer literate
- Reach and Counterbalance FLT (beneficial - but if not willingness to be trained)
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible.
- Ability to prioritise.
