Role title: Asset Care Leader

Hilton Foods are looking for an Asset Care Leader. You will be responsible for protecting and optimising all equipment. This will be done by leading an Asset care programme with a strong focus on "Operator Asset Care", engaging the entire team to minimise loss time or waste in all forms. The ultimate responsibility of this role is to minimize machinery downtime and maximise performance/output in the most cost-effective way.

As an Asset Care Leader some of the responsibilities will be to:
Establishing and leading an effective asset care programme with a strong focus on "Operator asset care". Including,
Improving the skill and effectiveness of operators in maintenance and diagnostic skills. Remove routine maintenance and "no tools required" from skilled Engineers.
Maintain visual standards & PM records.
Organising & facilitating the Job Training, certification & verification.
Creating equipment ownership standards.
Effective delivery will encompass the six big losses (breakdowns, minor stops, quality defects, reduced speed, set up and adjustment, start-up yield loss). Performance improvement should be clear and visual to all stakeholders.
Improving & maximising machinery performance and reliability on site.
Collaboratively work with Engineering, Operations & Process Improvement teams to improve overall performance.
Assisting with process safety management activities where applicable.
Creating an environment where all employees are active contributors in the team.

To succeed as an Asset Care Leader, we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
Can quickly upskill on machine settings and adjustments.
Experience with Asset care implementation.
Knowledge of CI process & systems.
Skilled at motivating and coaching teams & individuals.
Able to create and update reports as required.
