Hilton Seafood are looking for a Development Chef to join the Innovation team. In this role you will be accountable for the culinary inspiration and direction for each project assigned, in line with the internal and external overarching customer strategy. In this role you will Work closely with internal natural work team to fully map out, understand and deliver each project within the critical path
As an Development Chef some of the responsibilities will be to:
• Understanding assigned retailer and their customer strategy.
• To create each product with full insight of MOQs, Shelf life, allergens, ingredients cost and process.
• To manage all product detail for appropriate handover to NPD manager and process.
• To have full understanding of each products, packaging and factory process and capability.
• Present all products knowledgably, passionately and to the high food standards.
• To attend factory trials as and when required.
• To make and manage samples creation when requested.
To succeed as an Development Chef we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
• Proven track record of successful product development.
• Culinary experience (classically trained).
• Graduate level capability.
• Broad food production and process experience.
• Proven track record of delivering business change utilising structured approaches to project management.
• Strong influencing skills and relationship management at all levels internally and externally.
